Punctum and La Trobe Art Institute are delighted to invite Expressions of Interest from a regional artist in Australia to undertake a funded two-week residency in Djaara / Bendigo
This residency supports regional artists resident anywhere in Australia to travel to Djaara/Bendigo in regional Victoria for a two-week period during baramul & milakuk time.
Baramul (lightening) & milakuk (emu) time occurs in February, when this residency is held. Drawing purpose from Djaara seasonal indicators, this is an opportunity for an artist who is interested in connecting with place, people and site through the intersection of live performance and visual arts.
