An unmissable performance adventure. A visceral musical collaboration between experimental musicians from Java, Melbourne and Castlemaine.

World renowned Indonesian artist Cahwati Sugiarto (voice/dance/percussion) and celebrated Australian experimental musicians Aviva Endean (clarinet/electronics) and Matthias Schack-Arnott (percussion/electronics). The group combines Javanese song and dance with visceral sonic textures to create music that is hypnotic and transformational.

When: Friday October 24th 6pm – 7pm
Where: Phee Broadway Theatre, Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine
Access: Entry is free. The Phee Broadway has step-free access into the venue

This presentation is taking place on the lands of the Djaara people. We pay our deep respects to Elders past and present and their living culture.
