Punctum

Spring Sonix No. 1

In partnership with Australian Art Orchestra

At the culmination of our first mentored intensive with Australian Art Orchestra, both mentors and mentees share their work for a live audience at Punctum ICU.

Through Punctum’s collaboration with Australian Art Orchestra (AAO), we are currently working with a cohort of young and emerging musicians in Central Victoria to provide supportive, interactive, and regular professional development, practice and presentation opportunities.

Spring Sonix No. 1 is the first live public performance as part of the program, in which both mentors and mentees will be performing.

Mentors for this first Spring Sonix include – Aryo Hall, Aviva Endean, Justin Marshall, and Peter Knight.

This performance is the sonic equivalent of a litmus test – a probe – which we’re hoping will play out across 2023 with regular practice and presentation opportunities for local music makers, performers, composers, curators and audiences.

We’d love to have you with us for this Spring Sonix with Punctum and Australian Art Orchestra as we probe opportunity for young and emerging regional musicians.

All tickets $10. Refreshments available.
