Punctum

A live arts performance work in progress about living with an unruly body.

Sandra uses her body as a contested site. Her body is both the site and material for her arts practice which includes experiments in performance and live arts, video, photography, and objects. Through her work she investigates representations of a non-ideal sick female body and examines how illness/pain can be framed as beauty. This practise has led her into a rich field of inquiry.

Always in the Waiting Room’s creation and presentation is taking place on the lands of the Djaara and Wadawurrung people. We pay our deep respects to Elders past and present and their living culture.
